Step into the taverns of Steelwatch, where the air is thick with the scent of krum and the hum of whispered conversations. Atomic Toads is the game of choice. Played by 2-4 players, this digital card game pits you against fellow survivors and riff-raff in a battle of wits and luck. You’ll need at least one friend with you to play this game. ATOMIC TOADS – Gameplay Instructions

OBJECTIVE:

• Be the first player to reach 100 points
• Take turns drawing cards and banking points while managing risks

SETUP:

• Select number of players (2-4)
• Each player starts with three power abilities that can each be used once per game

CARD TYPES & POINTS:

• Green Toad: 1 point
• Blue Toad: 2 points
• Golden Toad: 5 points
• Toxic Toad (☢️): Ends your turn and loses all unbanked points

ON YOUR TURN, YOU CAN EITHER:

• Draw a card
• Use a power ability (optional, before drawing)
• Bank your points

AFTER DRAWING YOUR CARD:

• Points are added to your unbanked score
• You can choose to draw again or bank points
• If you draw a Toxic Toad, you lose all unbanked points

POWER ABILITIES (Use once per game):

Shield 🛡️

• Protects against one Toxic Toad
• Must be used before drawing

Double Points ⚡

• Doubles the points from your next card
• Must be used before drawing

Safe Bank 🏦

• Immediately banks half of your current points
• Allows you to continue your turn
• Good for securing points while continuing to draw

STRATEGY TIPS:

• Bank points regularly to avoid losing them to a Toxic Toad
• Save powers for crucial moments
• Watch other players’ scores to know when to take risks
• Golden Toads are valuable but risky to continue drawing after getting one

WINNING:

• First player to reach or exceed 100 points wins
• Game continues until someone wins, even if players run out of powers
